My name is Vanessa, I am born in 1985 and I have 2 sons.
Becoming a mother, I have been deeply touched and upset. This part of my life gave birth to an incredible passion for motherhood and perinatal care. And also a great desire to commit myself to the well-being of women, parents and children.
Since my elder son’s birth, I had been wanting to support other parents during that incredible and moving period of giving life in which they are so vulnerable.
Firstly, I invested myself over prematurity, because I welcomed my child about 2 months before my due-date. Volunteering in a support group of parents facing high-risk pregnancies, I took the vacant place in the purely medical path.
I welcomed their emotions, their fears (not trying to silence them) and offered them a « safe place » to express themselves. Why ? Being close to women and couples, being able to listen, to understand, to support and empower them as parents.
I am so passionate that I binge podcasts, documentaries, books and movies that deal with perinatal care. Little by little, I built a solid base of knowledge.
Over time, my vocation became more and more evident and I realize that deep down, I had been a doula for a while. Then, and after 15 years, I decided to take a 180° turn to live my vocation.
My ambition is to allow each woman to be an actress of her motherhood, according to her needs, her sensitivity and her desires, whatever is her situation, the way her pregnancy goes (natural or PMA, pathological ou physiological….)
My goal is to give you the keys to enlighten and fulfill your parenthood.
My doula training
I chose to train myself for 9 months with Envol et Matrescence school, in order to be able to support my clients on the best way and to improve my knowledge.
Also, I want to help mother to reveal their full power and allow them to calmly approach their childbirth, physiological or not. That’s why I learned perinatal hypnosis with the French psychologist Lise Bartoli : méthode Hypno Natal®.
